Your court. Your information.

What we store
Your Apple account identifier, display name, chosen avatar, shared preferences, consent choices, partner connection, case messages, proposals, and acceptance choices. If you enable notifications, we store your device’s notification token. We do not need your address book or location.
Who sees it
Your paired partner can see all submitted case content and shared preferences. There is no private coaching channel. Authorized service operators can access stored data to run and support the service. Conversations are not end-to-end encrypted.
AI is optional
Only after both partners consent do we send names, case messages, and shared preferences to OpenAI for coaching. We request that generated responses are not stored through the API’s response-storage feature; OpenAI may retain data under its own API policies, including abuse monitoring. We do not promise zero retention by that provider. You can withdraw consent in Settings to stop future AI processing. Human chat remains available.
Security and retention
Connections use HTTPS. Apple refresh credentials are encrypted at rest; application sessions use hashed tokens. Operational logs exclude conversation content. We retain your cases until your pairing or account is deleted. Encrypted backups expire after seven days. We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
Leaving or deleting
Disconnecting a partner deletes the shared court and cases for both people. Account deletion additionally deletes your profile, device tokens, and sessions, and queues revocation of Apple credentials. Outstanding revocation credentials are retained encrypted only until revocation succeeds. Content already viewed or copied by your partner cannot be recalled.
Reports and support
Reports are stored for review by the service operator. Do not include unrelated sensitive information. This is not an emergency response service. Use Support & safety for in-app reporting instructions.
Adults only
Couple Court is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It provides everyday communication coaching, not professional therapy or legal advice.
